Adult Choir
First Time Visitors
Every Thursday evening, hundreds of men and women from all over Jacksonville and surrounding communities, come together as members of (and visitors to) the Chancel Choir. Our main purpose is preparing our hearts, minds and voices to present gospel music which uplifts the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have a great time of learning music and fellowshipping with members of our Chancel Choir Family.
Church Location:
124 West Ashley Street.
Ministry Location:
The Chancel Choir Rehearsal Room is located in the basement level of the Main Audtiorium, accessible through the double doors on either side of the choir loft in the main auditorium.
Where to Park:
Parking is provided in the Preschool Garage (on Laura Street at the corner of Ashley Street) and Garage #2 (on Laura Street between State Street and Beaver Street). Child Care is provided for Choir members' children only (ages Pre-School through 5th grade.)
What to Wear:
Casual, modest attire.
What to Bring:
There is nothing that you need to bring. Visitors will receive a visitor packet of music that you may borrow for that evening.
Time:
Rehearsals times are 6:45 PM - 9:00 PM. Although our rehearsals start at 7:00 PM sharp, we encourage visitors to arrive about 10 - 15 minutes early. That way, we can greet you personally, give you a Visitor's pack of music for the evening and introduce you to some of our members who will assist you for the evening. Come on down!
