Adult Orchestra Director
The Chancel Orchestra has been a vital part of the Music Ministry at First Baptist for over 30 years. Our 60-member orchestra is made up of some of the most dedicated musicians in the city of Jacksonville. These instrumentalists are using their talents for the Lord Jesus Christ by faithfully performing in our Sunday morning and Sunday evening worship services every week. This all-volunteer ensemble rehearses on Thursday nights at 7:00 in our Music Suite, located in the basement of the Preschool Building.
Psalm 150:3-6: “Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals! Praise Him with clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
