AWANA Ministry

AWANA is an international Bible-centered youth ministry providing local churches with weekly programs. Our AWANA Ministry is for children in the first through fifth grades. The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15).

Come join this exciting three-segment program each and every Sunday night from 5:00 to 7:45 in the Kidz Playce.

Each evening begins with a formal flag ceremony which sets the tone of discipline for the entire evening.

  • Handbook Time is a small-group time where the clubbers recite memorized verses to their Handbook Leader
  • Game Time is a fast-paced, high-energy time of fun on a unique AWANA game circle, this segment keeps clubbers coming back.
  • Council Time is a large-group time with Bible teaching and the time in which the clubbers receive their awards.

“Awana is a blast! Not only do we learn about Jesus and how to hide God's Word in our heart, we have the chance to play exciting games unique only to the Awana Ministry, each and every Sunday. Also, each month we have a cool theme night where we can dress up and do cool activites and have food to eat.”
