Baptist Children’s Home
The Florida Baptist Children's Home serves boys and girls who come from tragic and heartbreaking circumstances such as abuse, abandonment, and neglect.
World Missions
We have many couples and singles from First Baptist Church that are missionaries all over the world and are supported through this giving.
Cooperative Program
The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has always had one mission - the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20). Churches in our state work together through our state convention to support a wide array of ministries and missions including: evangelism efforts, children's homes, volunteer missions, missions education, new churches, college and universities, collegiate ministries, camps, and much more.
Associational Ministry
The Jacksonville Baptist Association is a networking ministry of diverse churches seeking to stimulate church health, develop leaders, and multiply ministry in the Jacksonville, Florida area.
International ministry
First Baptist Church has an outstanding International Ministry program. They have their own Bible Fellowship classes and worship service. This ministry also has English classes to help them with the language. They help internationals find housing, jobs, clothing, furniture, and other needs. The ministry reaches out to provide medical care as well. Along with all of these, they reach the internationals for Jesus.
Chinese ministry
This First Baptist ministry reaches out to all oriental nationalities. They have their own Bible Fellowship class and worship service, which is taught and then interpreted in their language. This atmosphere allows the oriental people to worship together as a group.Prison ministry
A group of First Baptist men go to various prisons in our state to minister to inmates in an attempt to lead them to faith in Jesus Christ.
Liberty University
This fund is to help subsidize Liberty University and the work they do educating and equipping people in a Christian university setting.
