Preschool Ministry
We would like to welcome you and your family to our Preschool Ministry at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Our ministry looks forward to partnering with you to teach your child. When we open our doors to receive preschoolers, we have a registered nurse on duty to assist us. We have teachers who are carefully selected for our classrooms. These loving teachers invest their love and time in the life of your preschoolers. As partners, the home and church can build spiritual foundations that will last forever.
Each time a preschooler is brought into one of our classrooms, he/she is involved in a well-planned, Christ-centered teaching program taught on his/her level of understanding. A Biblical foundation is laid through teaching your child about God, Jesus, the Bible, the church, self, others, family, and the natural world.
Our Preschool classrooms sometimes hum with quiet activity. Sometimes they are loud and boisterous. But, that is ok! There's learning going on!
We offer families with young children a special parking garage located at the corner of Laura and Ashley Streets. Our garage is connected by a crosswalk to the Preschool Building for the security of our preschoolers and for their protection from the weather.
VIP Card Program
At First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Parents are Very Important! It is our desire to partner with each parent as we teach our preschoolers about Jesus. Parents are truly an integral part of our ministry at FBC Jax.
Each time a parent serves in our ETC hours, he/she will receive a punch on his/her VIP card. After serving for six sessions, parents will be able to enjoy a date night while we provide free childcare and a great time for our preschoolers.
Date Nights are scheduled from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. as follows: December 8, 2006, March 9, 2007, June 1, 2007 and September 7, 2007.
Please bring a sack supper for your child. Preschoolers are welcome to wear their pajamas. We will have fun Bible activities planned each time your child participates. Leave a cell number and enjoy your evening out as husband and wife!
VIP cards are available at the Preschool Registration Desk on the 2nd floor.

My music teachers teach me how to play the instruments and we memorize the hymns that tell us about Jesus, and they teach us new fun songs. We have fun teachers and great stories, and I get to play with all my friends.”
