A ministry to new and expectant parents.  This includes personal visits from Preschool Ministries staff and/or assigned encourager during pregnancy and after childbirth, as well as an Expectant Parents Brunch.  Lullabies & Butterflies Encouragers are paired with each expectant mother to pray for a healthy pregnancy, delivery, and the new baby. What is an Encourager?

Encouragers should have a passion for young mothers and a desire to build a mentoring relationship with a new mother.  An encourager in our Lullabies and Butterflies Ministry will be assigned to an expectant mother.

Encouragers will be responsible for the following:

    * Praying daily for the mother, her pregnancy and safe delivery.
    * Contacting the expectant mother once a month via phone, email, or regular mail.
    * Providing a meal for the family soon after the birth of the baby.
    * Reporting the birth of the baby and any ministry needs to the Preschool Ministry office.
    * Attending our Lullabies & Butterflies Ministry Luncheon held twice a year for our expectant couples.
