Sarah began her career as an advertising sales executive at the Florida Times-Union and never expected that experience to lead to work in ministry! Her first opportunity in children’s ministry came in 2011 at Family Church in West Palm Beach. Shortly after moving home to Jacksonville in 2013, she began serving in the children’s ministry of the Nocatee Campus where you will still find her today. Sarah is certified by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
A passion for working with children and love for the Lord led to an amazing and unexpected joy found in ministry. She counts it a privilege to share the life-changing power of Jesus with kids and seeks to make each interaction fun an exciting.
Sarah met her husband on a high school trip with First Baptist Church. They have been married for 18 years and have two sons, ages 15 and 11. A sheepadoodle named Bear, fish, and a few reptiles fill their home with even more fun.
She is thankful for the faithfulness of First Baptist Church that preaches the entire Word of God to everyone from babies to senior adults.
