"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." (Colossians 3:16 ESV)
Worship is the response of a redeemed heart to Who God is and to all He has done. When we sing together as a church body, we are responding to the greatness of our God and to the grand story of His perfect Word; the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We seek to sing songs that are rich in Biblical truth, to remind one another of the Gospel and to bring glory, honor and praise to our matchless Savior.
Worship at South Campus is intentionally congregational. The most important sound in the room is the sound of the gathered body of believers lifting their voices in praise to the Lord Jesus Christ! The purpose of the worship team at South is to encourage, facilitate and lead congregational worship with excellence.
Our desire is “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12). We have childrens’ choirs for children in pre-k 4 through 5th grade. Our teenagers are welcome to become involved in our worship and media teams as they are gifted.
