Daniel was born in Houston, TX, where he grew up attending Houston’s First Baptist Church. It was under the ministry of that great church that Daniel accepted Christ as a boy, and eventually felt called to ministry. He received his undergraduate degree from Dallas Baptist University, and then, went on to earn a Master’s degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Daniel married Amy in 2005, and they have 3 children, Wyatt, Thatcher, and Hadley Anne.

Daniel served as a youth pastor in Irving, TX, and Raleigh, NC, and most recently worked to help plant a church in Rolesville, NC.

Now, as the Education Pastor at First Baptist Church Jacksonville, Daniel’s goal is to encourage people in the church to pursue Christ and love him more. It is his aim to help strengthen their faith, and encourage them to live in such a way that it would bring glory to God.
