A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Linda is an RN, holds a Bachelor of Science in Environment Health and Epidemiology from George Washington University and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She had a productive career in medical research at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She later “retired” to care for her growing family and began to study how to better manage the family income. Her search for information ultimately led her to become a Certified Financial Planner and to a financial services career spanning 26 years.
On February 13, 2000, Linda accepted Christ while watching First Baptist Church Jacksonville on television. Shortly after, God gave her a passion for Biblical Financial Stewardship.
Linda joined the staff of FBC JAX in 2008 as Director of Development for the First Jacksonville Foundation and Director of Biblical Financial Stewardship Education. In 2013 her role changed as she was given the opportunity to serve as Director of Senior Adult Ministry.
Linda would tell you that her greatest educational accomplishment was her certification by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors in 2021. This certification has enabled her to minister biblical wisdom to the everyday struggles in people lives. She claims the truth of Galatians 2:20.
