Michael graduated from Liberty University in 2008 with a degree in Vocal/Choral Music and has served in music ministry ever since.  He spent his college years as well as the following year traveling the states on missions-focused singing teams, using music as a foothold to share The Gospel and to encourage The Great Commission in the hearts of high school students and young people across the nation.  He served as an Associate Worship Pastor at First Baptist Church of Brandon Florida, and was then the Worship Pastor for Shindler Drive Baptist Church before coming to minister to students at FBC Jacksonville.  Michael is the director of the FBC JAX High School Choir and ensembles, and the High School’s premier Refuge band. He also works with adult ensembles and leads worship as the need arises.

The rest of Michael’s days are filled with the joys of a loving and talented wife, Lauren, and their two beautiful daughters, Aurian and Haven.  He enjoys reading, dancing with his girls, all things super hero, and spending time at the beach and in the mountains.
