On Sunday afternoon as we were making preparations for our Life Together Fellowship, we were all shocked and saddened by the news that a gunman opened fire at The Jacksonville Landing, killing several people and injuring many more. In response to this tragedy and other recent violence in our city, we will hold a prayer service on Wednesday, August 29, at The Jacksonville Landing, for all members of the community. At this prayer service we will have a time to sing, to reflect on Scripture, to pray, and to be joined by other government, community, and religious leaders in our city.

4:30 PM - Dinner available in the FBC JAX Dining Room
6:00 PM - Walk to The Landing (shuttles available)
6:30 PM - Service at the outdoor area of The Landing

Childcare will be available as usual for infants through 5th grade.

Middle and High School students will join us at The Landing. Students without parents or guardians will be accompanied by youth leaders meeting at 6pm at the Middle School building and Refuge room, respectively.

We hope you will join us for this opportunity to share the light of Christ at the very place of darkness from Sunday's tragedy.
