Hope in Sorrow: The Way Forward for Jacksonville
In light of recent violence, we have decided to focus our Sunday morning service on a response to the tragedies in our city. We are calling it, "Hope in Sorrow: The Way Forward for Jacksonville". Junior Hill will not be joining us this week for our typical Labor Day Sunday worship service. I know that many look forward to his arrival every year, but there was no way for us to proceed with "business as usual" on this particular Sunday. Pastor Heath will bring a sermon from John 14:1-6 that provides hope in this difficult time. This has the potential to be a time to minister the love of Jesus to our city. Please be in prayer for this service and continue to encourage people to join us on Sunday as guests. This will be a time for people who are hurting or who have questions to come to church looking for hope and answers. We must pray that this is exactly what they find.
A limited number of meal tickets will be available at the door for $8 each.
If you purchased tickets for last Sunday evening, you can use those for lunch this week or any Wednesday evening meal in the Dining Room.
Guests eat free.
