We need cookies! Our annual Prison Ministry Cookie Collection is Wednesday, December 18th. This ministry provides a unique opportunity to share the gospel in local prisons as we share cookies and a coke with inmates.

When: Wednesday, December 18, 4:00-6:30 PM
What:  Homemade Cookies by the dozen in zip-top bags
Where: Two drop-off Locations: Children's Building Lobby (southeast side), OR Children's Building Fountain (corner of Laura & Ashley Streets. Look for the signs.)

We need 30,000 cookies, so gather those cookie recipes and start baking.

Volunteers Needed

A large team of volunteers is needed to serve on Wednesday, December 18th to help sort, re-bag, and box the cookies for distribution at the prison. If you can help, please contact Cliff Davis at 265-7286 or email CliffD@fbcjax.com.

Testimonies

See the effect your generosity has in the lives of others:

I was watching this weekend and would like to tell you that your ministry does work. I was in prison from 2000-2002 at Putnam County. Your guys used to come there every Wednesday to preach the Word. The seed was planted and today I am a saved man. God has given me a wife, and she was told she could never have children. When we met I asked God for His approval and if He approved of us being together, to bless us with a child. She was born on Easter, April 12, 2008 at 8:12 PM. We are now expecting our second child and he will be born in October. God is real and we are both truly grateful for His blessings. I just wanted to say, thank you and keep spreading the faith. -Keith

I wanted to thank you all for taking the time to make cookies and deliver them to my brother’s facility: Florida State Prison. he told me about y’all coming last week and was really thankful and excited. It really makes a difference. I appreciate it and wanted to let you know. Thank you! -Christie
