Speakers
Heath Lambert
Dr. Heath Lambert is the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville.
Prior to his role as Senior Pastor, Dr. Lambert served as the Associate Pastor (2016-2018), led the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) as its Executive Director, and taught as a professor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY). He is the author of several books including Finally Free: Fighting for Purity with the Power of Grace and A Theology of Biblical Counseling: The Doctrinal Foundations of Counseling Ministry.

Jim Newheiser
Jim Newheiser (DMin, Westminster Seminary California) is the director of the Christian counseling program and associate professor of Christian counseling and pastoral theology at Reformed Theological Seminary Charlotte. He is also executive director for the Institute for Biblical Counseling and Discipleship and is an adjunct professor at The Master’s University (Santa Clarita, CA). He counsels married couples, teaches counseling courses, practical theology courses, and has written several resources on biblical counseling, ministry, and marriage. Jim is married to Caroline, and they have three adult children.
DR. ERNIE BAKER
Dr. Ernie Baker serves as the Pastor of Counseling at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville where he oversees pastoral care and the Grace Center for Biblical Counseling. He spent 25 years in pastoral ministry before becoming a professor of biblical counseling at The Master’s University (Santa Clarita, CA) where he oversees the online Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Counseling degree program and serves as an adjunct professor for graduate level courses. He is certified with The Institute for Christian Conciliation and teaches numerous conflict resolution courses, is a fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), and a board member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition.
