A native of Baltimore, MD, Linda holds a Bachelor of Science degree from George Washington University and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She pursued a career in nursing and then medical research, but later “retired” to care for her growing family. Because she was no longer contributing to the household income, she decided to learn how to better manage their money. Her search for information led to a financial services career spanning 26 years. Linda became a Certified Financial Planner ®, a Chartered Life Underwriter, and a Chartered Financial Consultant. On February 13, 2000, Linda accepted Christ while watching FBC’s television broadcast. At that time, God gave her a passion for Biblical Financial Stewardship and a desire to help people get ready for the judgment. Linda joined the staff of FBC JAX in 2008 as Director of Development for the First Jacksonville Foundation. In 2011, her role expanded when she was appointed to the Education Staff as Director for Stewardship Education. She claims the truth of Galatians 2:20: “I am crucified with Christ. I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me so I live my life in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God Who loves me and gave His life for me.”
